Provincetown Beach
From the Canal to the tip of Provincetown, Cape Cod has the world's best beaches. But, which one is "THE BEST"?? It all depends on what you're looking for!

Here are some favorites:

SANDY NECK: Just before the Barnstable town line on Route 6A is the road leading to Sandy Neck. This long strip of beach is shared by both Sandwich and Barnstable, and is characterized by a sand/cobble beach. As with most north-side beaches, the water is shallow, but colder in the summer than the south-side beaches. Off-roading is allowed with permits. Snack bar, restroom facilites are open in the summer. Parking fee for those without a resident beach sticker.

THE KNOB: Quisset Harbor in Sippewisset is wonderful for small sailboats. Paths leading through the woods will lead you to the west side, perfect for summer sunsets, while the harbor side has a small quiet sandy beach. Limited parking, no facilities.
